Sib 1. Year Hopefully the next one will bring something of use. Nothing that has been introduced since has seemed worth my money. And all the endless problems about the Application Manager and now Avid Link turn me off completely.

Yes, Avid Link handles the licensing for Sibelius, and eventually Sibelius will become de-activated if Avid Link is not present. Much depends on the exact version number of Sibelius, and the exact version number of Avid Link in the PC. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of both, and update as necessary. I have Sibelius on auto-update. How can I check which version of Avid Link I have? If I need an update, do I uninstall the old one first? The products tab assuming I have the right thing says "installed This seems to mean there is no update available otherwise why not say "not updated"? Hello Phoscine, If your Media Composer is licensed using the old method, deactivate it from the machine it was activated.
